are you leaving NG?
I'm not really "quitting" I am just taking some time off of submitting to Newgrounds because I haven't really gotten ANY melodies or even a fucking generic drum beat anymore, It just seems that I feel so bad about my music I think ti sucks.
Why are you "leaving" NG?
It's partially because NG ruined my musical self asteem (The zerobombers did, people that review, criticize, vote failry, or even give me a two word review saying "you're awesome" raise it) and by that happening I just can't feel good about ANYTHING I make anymore. I may come back, but that has yet to be determined. I haven't even been able to open up FL lately and actually make something because my melodies are completely wiped from myself. I can really only do remixes, and they aren't even good enough to fit up anywhere up the web. Maybe I should wait 2 years and come back to music and see what happens. I don't know. I'm in a tough situation. The other half of my problem would be my computer and my household. Let me start with my computer. I have a fucking shitty computer - not because it has viruses or shit like that - it's due to the fucking RAM I have on here. I have 256 MB of RAM. It is sad, but true. I cannot do ANYTHING on FL without getting fucking Underruns on the buffering. I load up like, 3 VsTi, and it's already over 256 on the cpu thingy. I only have about 3-4 GB of hard drive space left too, so I can't get anymore VsTi or drum samples without overloading my computer. I have a laptop with 512 mb of RAm ( not too good, but better than my "common computer" that I use) But I cannot use it due to it coming without a charger (bought it off a friend, never came with one) So I'm stuck with this until I either get a job or my mom randomly comes home with one. My household problem is that we live with our aunt due to economical problems (teh moneies) and she does NOT let me play my music loud (her type of "loud" is probably regular volume) so I wither listen to it VERY quiet, or i throw on my shitty headphones and attempt to produce with them. It's a problem we are trying to deal with 9living with her) and it will be settled soon. I just hope when we move we get internet ASAP.
So if you are wondering why I am "leaving" NG or why i'm not submitting anything right now, there is your answer. I hope I didn't frighten you or anything but things have to be done on here to officially welcome me back, I just cannot handle the fact that the system relies on a score base, it's just not fair.
